I read a very moving article by Lisa Gray in the Houston Chronicle this morning that reminded me of moment in time. After reading the story I got out my Rockwell book and scanned a portion of the mural mentioned; it being larger than the platen only a third of the picture would fit. I think Norman Rockwell was better at reporting the issues of the day with his brush and canvass than most of today’s journalists with their keyboards and computers. What’s the old saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. . .
